Tally Youngblood

This is a drawing I did when I was bored
It should probably go under 'scraps' - but I will move it later

Neway: Tally Youngblood is the protagonist in Scott Westerfeld's trilogy with Uglies, Pretties, and Specials
She lives in a world where when you are 16 you get an operation basically turning you into a living and breathing Bratz doll. Its kinda creepy.
But she has to go find her friend who escaped a few days before her operation - and this leads to many realizations about her world. One of the moments is when she and the leader of the rebellion that her friend ran away to, named David, have a tender moment in the woods after Tally finds out the truth.
The reason this moment spoke to me so much was because Tally's mind is still jumping hurdles and her quote is the first one
And David is trying to tell her that she is pretty even without the operation, his is the second quote.
And after you read the series then you would understand how good a story she really does have to tell *nodnod*
